Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for a fixed term 36 month research position in Pure Mathematics. This position is a key part of a new research project that aims to develop new methods in the study of the homotopy theory of toric spaces. The project is funded by the Leverhulme Trust and will be supervised by Dr Jelena Grbic. You will have a PhD or equivalent experience in Pure Mathematics in the field of algebraic topology, be able to provide evidence of your ability to pursue research independently and as part of a team, and a track record of high quality original research. Knowledge and expertise in homotopy theory would be advantageous.
